di ko makalimutan nung sinabon ni GMA si Dr. Fe Hidalgo sa unang cabinet meeting nya as OIC Sec ng DepEd noon dahil nireport nya ang kakulangan sa lahat sa dadating noon na pasukan. Kawawang Dr Fe, napilitang lokohin ang sarili na walang kakulangan dahil sa pagsabon ni GMA ng harapan. masakit po ang work ko now dahil kami ang arm ng DepEd now sa K-12 Science and Math at totoong suntok sa buwan mismo ang k-12. classrooms, books, teachers, salary, teachers' capability, name it..gusto pala ni PNoy, ni Luistro et. al ng bato na ipupukpok sa ulo nila, sana sila na lang..di kasi nakaranas maghirap kahit saglit

Philippines have a good QUALITY of education until now. The following problem hope our Government address solution: 1.) Highly Commercialize Education; 2.) Over Crowded Class Room (60 students in 1 class room. Kindly reduce it in 30 Students); 3.) Unsystematic Teaching Method; 4.) Lack of Educational Materials; 5.) Awareness to Parents Responsibility; and 6.) Corruption.

K to 12 reform program is not a solution to improve the quality of Education, it will cause more Dropouts and poverty.

To the Lawmakers of the
Philippines,

We, the youth who form part of Lifeguard
Organization, range from ages six to eighteen years old, and we count ourselves
as your allies in shaping tomorrow’s history. Within a decade or two we shall
find ourselves at the forefront of our nation’s leadership. We wish to express
our outright rejection of the Reproductive Health Bill 4244 through this
petition. We appeal to you:

To guard life. The most important human right is the
right to life, and this remains true regardless of a person’s gender,
opinion, belief, or social status; regardless of talents, abilities,
physical characteristics, or size. The right to life is immediately
inherent at conception, when a human being with a complete set of DNA is
formed.

The Reproductive Health Bill Sec. 9
states that, “The National Drug Formulary shall include hormonal
contraceptives, intrauterine devices, injectables and other safe, legal and
effective family planning products and supplies…” These prevent implantation,
and thus cause nothing less than the death of a human being. This is a loss to
the family, the community, and the entire country.

To guard the family. We uphold the truth that a family consists
of a father, mother, and their children. This is the basic unit of
society. Home is where children are raised towards becoming upright and
responsible citizens. To destroy or corrupt the family in any way is to
destroy the society.

The use of contraceptives allows the
procreative and unitive marital act to be performed by unmarried adolescents
and adults. No contraceptive provides 100% “protection”; it will cause children
to be born out of wedlock and without having responsible parents who will care for
them. Use of contraception may also pave the entrance of abortion to our
country: studies show that 54% of women who undergo abortion used
contraception. Abortion destroys the family and devalues the life of Filipinos,
who are the biggest asset of this country.

To guard religious liberty. The RH Bill makes a false concession
in the name of freedom of conscience at Section 18, stating that: “the
conscientious objection of a healthcare service provider based on his/her
ethical or religious beliefs shall be respected; however, the
conscientious objector shall immediately refer the person seeking such
care and services to another healthcare service provider within the same
facility or one which is conveniently accessible.” To the, ‘conscientious
objector,’ such an act would amount to the same thing, and he would be
equally liable. Thus, the RH Bill’s claim of respecting belief is
unfounded and, by the law which you have power over, the right to freedom
of conscience is eradicated.

We
understand that the Philippines is a developing country; but instead of using
billions of government funds for contraception, please invest them on
education, housing, hospital facilities and basic health services, infrastructure,
and employment opportunities. We desire to spend our energies and resources to
change the lives of our countrymen for the better; however, the proposed
measures in the RH Bill will not bear the fruits that they promise.

As adolescent
citizens of our country, we seek you to please be our beacon of hope. We are
more than willing to support you in positive alternative solutions. We
acknowledge your duty as legislators to help improve the lives of all Filipinos;
but how could we accept your solution at the expense of helpless and innocent
lives?

We
appeal to you to stop the RH Bill and build for us a more stable future today. Join
us in becoming Pro-life, pro-family and pro-faith. We are praying for you! May
God bless us all.

I think we need to get facts straight, is SM really behind this demolition? I read in SMDC's site that they are "not in any way involved in the demolition of existing structures in the Silverio Compound or in the dispersal of the protesters." It's just weird that SM is on the hot water again. There's still the SM Baguio expansion issue then this Silverio Compound demolition naman.Parang may mali di ba? Hehehe. Guys, don't be prejudice, nakukuryente tuloy tayo ng balita. Alamin muna ang totoo bago maniwala sa mga balita. By the way, here's the link to SMDC's statement.

We all know that private school are not funded by the government. Meaning private school are independent. Rentals, Salaries, maintenance, Telephone, water and Electric bills coming from tuition fees. Is it possible that private school establishment particular those school renting the building are exempted for the "no permit no exam"? What if there is a parent take advantage of "No permit no exam"? What is the corresponding penalties for them?

sa sti fairview. pag walang permit walang exam. so pag wala kang pangbayad edi hinde ka mag eexam!!! tapos pag nakabayad kana. may bago ka na naman babayaran. ang SPECIAL PERMIT EXAM!! it cost 50 pesos per subject. syempre kung 8 ang subject mo. 400 agad iyon diba napaka mukang pera nang school na ito. kaya ka nga hinde nakapag exam dahil wala kang pang bayad tapos pag mg babayd kana may bago ka na naman babayaran!

Kung gagastos ako ng pamasahe at baon ng anak ko for two more years to assure him or her of employment at age 18, e mukhang makakatipid pa din ako kaysa sa maging high school graduate lang siya at 16 na wala namang makuhang trabaho. Di na ko gagastos para papasukin siya sa mga two years course. Madali nang gawing stepping stones ang entry level job niya para sa kanyang college degree/ lalo na kapag matanda na ang kanyang mga magulang. Pero dapat planuhing maigi ang pagaaralan sa additional two years para di sayang ang pera ng mga magulang. Matipid pa din compara sa 2 years course after high school kung isa subsidize ng gobyerno tong 2 additional years.

why we always being fooled that all articles on our law system should be looked at so thoroughly as any possibility of acquittal is possible if the defendant is a high ranking official? rich person? and had so many connection. the issue here is besides whispers many filipinos are deep inside convinced that most of our officials are corruptors and should be punished and return all the money they corrupted from us. common sense, conscience should be the state policy and not letting our laws be at the hands of smart/clever poeple.

Don't you believe that Arroyo should be punished? If you do support the mass movement as you claim, then it should be easy to understand that Arroyo must answer to her crimes against the people during her term. After all, the mass movement was the biggest victim to Arroyo's human rights violations. Isn't holding Arroyo accountable to her crimes upholding the rule of law?

This, I think, is where I draw the line. I'm a stern supporter of mass movements, but I'd still like to uphold the rule of Law. I think Kabataan Partylist is taking this like a fascist does. There is no difference between this stand and Aquino's "punish Arroyo" stand. They both lack thought and is propelled by mere political desire.
